Chelle, hadn't you been largely successful in crediting before the reward amount change?
......Oh, wait a minute..... or had you been an advocate of printing 'safety' coupons when the reward was $0.25, so maybe your failure rate was higher then, too, even if you saw 2 credits most days?
I've regularly seen 6 or 7 credits. On days with 6, I may have just lost track of how many prints I'd done.
Chelle, I am curious. What system configuration are you using? Not remembering a post about that which may help us figure out why you have such a high failure rate. Also, have you followed the method I shared? My guess is that there has to be something (e.g. server not receiving your print confirmation or it recognizing several coupon prints as "one session" rather than one print per new session).
As far was crediting, our credits posted (7*.10) for each for the 4th.
I'm a very methodical person and have tried a variety of methods, with similar results.
Printing to PDF using Chrome browser on laptop.
Printing to PDF from smartphone app (which opens up mobile Chrome browser).
Printing to PDF from mobile Chrome browser without starting from the app.
I always go back to the first coupon screen and click on the coupon icon, which opens up the second browser window.
I don't log out completely, between each coupon, because that would be ridiculous and not worth my time nor effort.
I'm sure that I would have better luck if I printed "just in case" coupons but printing 14 coupons per day (7 for me and 7 for my mother) is the maximum effort that I'm willing to expend.
I see. I noticed issues when using my tablet and mobile devices mainly due to the way those systems print (would not credited). Should you have a Windows PC, try using Firefox just for the coupons, as that has worked well for me.
Just be sure to wait untill everything loads on the coupon completion screen before moving (green success bar hides) before clicking the coupons.com icon to then close that window once loaded.
Edit: I just recalled that you use a cell hotspot for your Internet access. I wonder if due to a slower connection, all components of the page are not loading in time for the server to receive the response that you completed the task.
Now, I know my method is a PIT@ since you have to close the coupons.com side to then refresh the freeup page in order to get a "fresh link" and start the process.
I do hope this improves for you regardless of the method.
Today, I ran a test on the actual links and only one part changed which was representative of the account number with FreeUp. Once I do conclude the testing will report the findings, as I am looking to reduce the number of steps. I am using one account as the control and the other as the test one.
All 7 coupons credited correctly (both control account and test account). Once first link is obtained (https://www. jdoqocy.com/click-7993587-10395834?sid=FRPXXXXXX) from the bill away page, it is no longer necessary to click back from that link. The link and numbers remained consistent in between accounts, so the sid=FRPXXXXXX appears to be de identifier that ties the coupon print back to the FreeUp account in question. The "click-7993587-10395834" section of the URL remained consistent in between days and across accounts. To be safe, it would be wise to obtain (copy) the link from the initial log in session to the billaway site to ensure the "click" number range remains constant.
The process followed remains the same when printing (open link, select coupon, print / save to PDF, wait for green completion bar to hide, click on the coupons.com logo on the top left, and wait for the page to load completely). Once all prints are complete, return to the billaway page and refresh the page to confirm still logged into the session thus get credited.
The next control experiment will be to use the link without logging into the billaway site to see if the test account credits the coupon prints. Also, the goal is to monitor if the "click" number range changes as the weeks go by.
Interesting. I am going to add that twist to my "test" account by running a coupon run using incognito which would not keep history or cookies once closed.
I have been waiting until the "You're coupon printed successfully" banner disappears, as you advised, and have been getting 7 credits per day on both accounts. Hopefully that was the fix and I'm not just getting lucky. Thank you for the tip!
Interestingly, I have also started getting 7 cents per coupon, as of yesterday. So has my mother. Oh well.
I just checked my crediting and only received 7x.07 for the 9th on both of my accounts. Maybe I missed it, but I'm almost certain that when I checked earlier today both accounts showed 7x.10 credits for the 9th. These errors don't appear to be intentional which is all the more reason for concern.
After reading your post I just rechecked my account on the website and my credits for the 9th are also changed to .07 as well. Earlier today both the website and the app showed .10 so I have no idea what they are doing.
"have no idea what they are doing"---nor does FU, evidently, at least concerning what billaway.com is doing. I sent an email to FU support asking how this change(error) was possible.
