I've always used the app for printing. But, I'm likely to try the direct URL version first suggested (I think) by st3fx, and detailed nicely by tech-stitch via a browser on my desktop. I'll probably screw it up.
Alright, so the test to use the direct link without even logging into the rewards site (freeup.billaway.com) worked (yesterday). This was after a two day hiatus (no coupons printed for either account for two days). All 7 coupons printed for that test account credited at 10 cents. I am going to run another batch in a bit to see if I get credited for today just following the custom link with the FRPXXXXXX number at the end.
Edit:
One last thing. I also used a device that I do not print from (android phone) when using that link. I had it saved to a document which I used to retrieve the URL in order to initiate the print.
I just ordered the FreeUp SIM and was wondering: Do many of the printable coupons offer solid discounts on main stream products?
Also, are many of you using the $21 from monthly printing to purchase the unlimited talk/text 2GB plan?
I'm far from a coupons expert, but it seems to me the coupons have a good discount on many everyday products, many of which are name brand products.
I believe there are a handful of Nth forum members that are using the $21 from coupon printing to pay for the FU 2 GB plan. I personally have had no problem fully paying for my $15 1GB plans from my coupon rewards each month.
Like others, I do actually use some of the coupons. They do offer a solid discount, and I've had no problem with them being accepted at the store. (I print in black & white on an older laserjet.)
If you want to go for the $21 plan, figure that you might have to subsidize the reward value a little-- even for those of us with the best results, it's not 100% reliable. Personally, I'd consider starting with the $15 plan to see how it works for you, and build up a little reserve.
Last I know.... it's possible to buy data add-ons for the free plan with rewards, but only by contacting Support to assist. The website dashboard doesn't work for that. It would be perfect for me if it could be done online.
None of the coupons ever want to scan at the grocery store I go to (maybe my printer?). I had someone manually key them in last time and she got annoyed and made up a new rule just for me only 3 of those coupons allowed lol.
Swagbucks pays you 25SB (= 25 cents) if you use a coupon so you might want to print the ones you want to use off there if you use the coupons regularly. Same coupons.com coupons.
Have you tried clicking through? I ask because I get all the way to a Popup that says:
"POWER UP YOUR PLAN FOR THIS MONTH
Are you sure you want to pay $5 including taxes and fees to get your Plan Data Add-On"
with an OK Button that is enabled.
I didn't press it as I don't need it now.
I did notice their site/dashboard will not work properly with ad blocking on within Chrome.
Or if the OK button is clicked does it only allow a Credit Card charge vs a rewards payment?
This from 2 months ago, unless something has changed:
"I was wondering if FU got the feature to purchase add-ons ONLINE using REWARDS working yet....the answer is Not yet, the system will charge your card if you have one on file. Calling or emailing support seems to still be the only way to utilize rewards for an add-on."
