Does anyone know what the best deal on the Pixel 3 was during Black Friday - Cyber Monday? A friend recently purchased the phone at full price and I want to inform them of the difference. I'm remember seeing some significant discounts.

Actually the best deal was after cyber monday - the short lived travel gift card promo on the 28th Nov
It lasted less than a day and scored you a travel gift card worth the cost of the phone so buy a pixel 3 for $799 and get a gift card for $799.
You could also have scored something slightly better by buying during the googlefi promo of save $200 off the phone and get $200 fi credit from 23rd to 27th Nov.
