A little more Red plan feedback: went for a drive today to test coverage. If you look up Harbor Beach, MI on Cell Phone Coverage Map: 5G/4G LTE Network | Visible you'll see that it's as far outside Verizon owned LTE as you can get. I'm getting band 66 LTE at -104db and 4-5 bars here on the shoreline. And while a few speed tests on the drive here didn't even make the 5/2 speeds, I never lost the LTE indicator. I can't say the same for my AT&T prepaid account phone, which for much of the last 60 miles was on 4g (HSPA) and even occasionally no service.
Obviously this is just 1 data point, but tends to indicate that Red has a coverage map that more closely matches Verizon postpaid than, well, Visible.
I'm curious what support said about your data stopping as well as calling and texting not working, assuming you contacted support after all stopped working? Is your phone working now or do you have to wait until the pink sim arrives? Odd that all of your phone services shut down on the Red sim.
You have to be rooted. Network signal guru is the only public app I know of that displays that info and it’s pretty accurate, but you have to be rooted. I have a rooted pixel just for these types of things
In one of my conversations, FreeMii CS stated they had no phone support line. You can only contact them via email or chat. The number listed on Facebook and the number for "Founder David" are for the office. I got a human at the Facebook number, but they just took a message that led to nothing.
AT&T plan has been working for 1 month with no problems. Unfortunately, the 'red plan' is not working as of this morning. I have submitted a ticket so we'll see where that goes.
Can you share any details about your red plan? How long has (had) it been active? How much data does your phone say you used, currently and in total? (I'm assuming you've not been active on Red too long.)
After reading various posts here about red vzw having issues, I requested an account number and pin so I can port out if necessary. I have the att blue plan anyway. Works flawlessly .
What a bummer. So it won't activate at all--no calling, data or signal of any kind? There's an app from the Play Store that maybe you could fool around with and change networks to see if that makes a difference. On my phone, I had to change the network to get data working. Also, even though FreeMii said the Sim was pre-activated, perhaps it will take a while to activate. Good luck.
I received my Red sim on Wednesday, 9/30, and it was activated about an hour ago (Friday, 10/2). In my home, I don't have many bars on any service, but I've had VZW before, received 13 down/ 2 up, which was better than expected.
I didn't know about the myfreemii.com site until I got the activation text this morning, and as others pointed out - the design is similar to some other sites, like Puppy Wireless. But I also noticed something: In the long distance rates section, it says: "All Lincoln Dollar customers can talk to each other..." and I thought that was odd - so did some searching and came across: Lincoln Dollar
Looks... sketchy. Like a prepaid credit card ...system? Bank?
They have an iOS and Android app, both released towards the end of August 2020, and the developer is listed as "Unified Signal", with a website at unifiedsignal.com. This company appears to be a white-labeling service, which offers platforms that can be labeled/skinned. I see under wireless services the exact website portal that we're seeing with Freemii. So maybe Lincoln Dollar isn't directly connected, neither is puppy wireless - they are just different people who "bought" into Unified Signal's platform and white labeled the platform.

The details I'm finding lead me back to a company called DataJack?
Let me back up - Found in Unified Signals press releases that indeed, they are a SaaS "billing enablement solutions" company, which allows companies in "virtually any industry" to sell or "resell cellular service, home telephone service, IoT, music streaming, mobile wallet, and debit card enablement services."
Also in the press releases, they used to be a public company, trading under OTCQB: UNSI as a result of their acquisition of a company called DataJack, but went private a couple of years back. So I went and searched DataJack, and it led me to: DataJack which looks familiar to us all. You can also search for old company data under that trading OTCQB UNSI label before they went back private.
Interestingly, they appear to have some different services, hotspot for instance, and only reference RED and YELLOW networks... so I presume this is outdated and no longer operating.
