Mini update 2: I wasn't as lucky as kelras. Got the sim after work (plain white card, just like the original, no branding) filled out the form, popped in the sim and rebooted. No provisioning. Download the January pixel security update, installed it (took an hour) rebooted again. Still not provisioned. I've left Monika a chat note.
Better to wait until we receive " successfully migrated " email and then insert new sim.
Completed Blue Migration Form after getting new sim.... waiting for email
My old blue sim is still working and I have good service.
I would have waited if I still had service. Since neither sim currently works, figured I'd be better off with the one most likely to start working (i.e. the new one.)
Probably could leave the new SIM in the phone. Might just provisioned during the day just like the old SIM got cut off without notice. Nothing to lose at that point.
Now my old blue sim is not working… it’s saying “no service “
Received pink and blue sim in ups.
Blue sim in migration process.
Inserted pink sim in phone for temp number…. Even pink is not working at the moment.
Complete mess.
Freemii should have handled in a different smooth process
No service on both sims…. Worst service
Just wondering if you filled out and submitted the migration form, assuming it was requested info for Pink sim. (I only received a Blue sim)
Also, the estimated activation time for Pink sim is listed as 1 hour (avg.) to 72 hours (Max time). So maybe it will activate "soon".
The quick changes to FreeMii Blue is a pain. But kudos to FreeMii for implementing the temporary T-Mobile option, and doing it proactively. (Even if, as it appears, the first batch of SIMs went out without the T-Mobile SIM.)
To those who have received either the new blue or the pink and blue combo: Did you get an email letting you know they were shipped? I haven't heard anything yet...and, patience NOT being my strong suit, wanted to check.
I did receive an email stating that they were shipped via Fedex yesterday (1/5) and will arrive today.
I got an email with tracking number when my Blue sim was sent, which I received on Jan. 3rd. Also, FreeMii sent me an email notifying me that the sim had been delivered.
OK, guess I'll just have to try to be patient. Don't want to bug them, as I'm sure they are pulling their hair out as it is.
I don’t know anything about the T-Mobile option but I got the AT&T new SIM card on December 31 and filled the form that day. Lost service 2 days ago and still don’t have the new one active…
Isamorph apparently got only the AT&T SIM on Jan 3, so perhaps the first shipments with both SIMs started a few days into the new year.
As of this morning my blue sim service is not working. I've not yet received the new sim(s) but it/they are supposed to arrive today.
We've sent the information on the mandatory migration to our members on the Blue network, asked for members' shipping address confirmation, sent a Blue SIM and offer a Pink SIM card in case someone wanted a new MDN for the duration of the migration. All requests can be submitted on the migration form at NativeForms migration may take 48 to 72 hours for the number transfer process to complete, in some cases even more, during this time you may experience service interruption. You'll receive an email notification when the migration is complete. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Looking at their main site right now shows this:$299/yr
No mention of 149 there - but seeing as they offer blue/pink/red networks I wonder if they are just another rebranding (MVNO ??) of Redpocket now ??
Trusting a vague provider @149/lifetime didn't ring my bell - and by comparison now 299/yr does absolutely nothing for me - then adding in the reports here of migration & SIM problems/delays does not make this look like a good option even if it were affordable.
Each time now, since 'the beast/freemo' did its repetition of the old, dead RP=>
Those things are what come to mind for me whenever I see a cellular offer that is too good to be true (or last long).
My only surprise & exception has been the 9.98 FP deal, which HAS turned out well...so far.
Received my blue network sim as well as a pink network sim. Ran the blue sim through the migration request page and am awaiting completion. How do I get the temporary pink sim to work?
Migration form has the option to pick temp pink number.
Temp pink number will become inactive after your blue SIM becomes active.
On the Migration form, u need to provide PINK and BLUE SIM ICCID details.
PINK sim will got activated after an hour with new number.
Well, I ponied up my $149 in Sept of 2020, haven't paid a cent since, and haven't missed a day of service until this, which is an ATT problem, not FreeMii. Sorry you missed the boat, but no need to crap on a good deal you missed.
yeah service is really good on BLUE sim
