Re: Swiping ads

Wonder if anyone can train their cat to do the swiping.

Robot swiper

Credits are not always awarded instantly. With some of our partners there could be a lag from when we get notice that you earned credits and then another short delay before that info is updated on your app.

We built our system to make sure that even if you're always on cell data you'll net credits - if you interact more while on wifi then your net will be higher

Hopefully this clarifies that question

Thanks
Tom Mannix

Hello Tom! I signed up yesterday for line of service and everything has been working well so far, except one thing. I received a rather unfortunate phone number (xxx-666x) and was wondering if there was a way I could possibly receive a new one. Thanks

I guess one thing I really want to see (I could be asking too much) is you'll always have an endless supply of ads to watch. Freetone (a VoIP app) used to have that until not long ago.
Another is, can you add monthly unlimited 2g that people can purchase with credits?

I think that would be rather difficult, for cat's paws aren't structured in such a way that one could easily train them to use a stylus.

Hi Tom just wanted you to know I got the hangouts thing fixed. Was a setting I did not see yesterday

Also

So I got some news. I took my old galaxy victory out today and got 4g. I did a speedtest.net. I got download 42meg and upload 16 meg
This is the fastest I have ever got with sprint period. No matter what carrier.

Is CellNuvo using the special 4g Sprint connection I read about?

The only speeds that was similar was t-mobile. on a Galaxy s5 (much faster phone)

Thought you all like to know

Lexus - thats great! Thanks for sharing.

I remember reading that Sprint had a faster 4glte service. Is Cellnuvo on that service or the basic?

We been on Sprint for over 5 years and never had these speeds. Most of the time it is 4 meg to 24 meg max on LTE

I noticed my speeds increase on twigby. I wonder if r+ was throttling. Together with network upgrades over the years.

Is the contact form at cellnuvo.com/contact_nuvo.php working?

I tried to submit an issue, but I received "There was a problem submitting your comment". Chat says "we're not around, but we'd love to chat another time."

How do I get help?

email support@cellnuvo.com

I couldn't get the online form to work either.

Been pretty happy with CellNuvo so far. With minimal interaction, I just peaked 1000 credits earned in less than a week. Even if the requirement was 2,500 a month, it would seem doable. But still glad they reduced it to just 1 credit earned per month.

I probably use too much data to have this as a primary line but can see this working out to keep as a spare phone or as a phone in the car when I need good voice quality (moved my primary line back to FreedomPop, so relying on data and VOIP).

Unless I'm mistaken, there are NO success reports re the 50 Thank You Message credits per day. Have people forgotten that was one of the things they were promised, or what?

Anybody get 50 credits without doing anything except maybe checking the freaking app?

P.S. When this thread started cellnuvo.com said 60 credits per Thank You Message but now the same website says 50. A 17% reduction is significant, but nobody even getting them is really significant.

I've not gotten the 60/50 Thank you Message credits per day...unless that's what those Kiip Awards are. They pop up about once an hour, usually back-to-back so that's about 10 credits per hour...easily more than the 60/50 Thank You Messages...

So I guess while you're right it doesn't necessarily seem to be exactly as advertised, they also dropped the requirement to earn 2,500+ credits/month and the Kiip Awards come out to more than the 60/50/day.

Dropping the requirement to earn 2500 credits/month, sorry, has most folks terribly confused.

Suppose you're an extremely light user who only needs 150 voice 150 text 0 MB a month. You need 1650 credits/month ANYWAY, so they've effectively only changed the requirement from 2500 to 1650. Yes, they're throwing you a bone but it's not a 2500 credit bone, it's a 850 credit bone LOL.

With the previous promise, all those 1650 credits would be there automatically.

Time to forget what ringplus gave - as you will have noticed they went out of business quickly. Gave users too high expectations.

Going from 2500 to 1 is a big deal as you don't have to do much to keep your service running.

It has been mentioned that the thank you credit is not available right now. There are other rewards that are not mentioned that are - qiip video rewards that come back to back for one - nets me 200 a day in the space of 5 minutes. I don't want them to swap that with a 60 credit reward! Also those thank you were to appear sometime once per day - doesn't mean you'd get it every day. You'd have to be using the app each day anyway.

Lighten up guys and stop complaining about the only free option with cellular left to us. It is a small company and deserves some slack.

"With the previous promise, all those 1650 credits would be there automatically." is in reference to CELLNUVO not ringplus. And not that it's important now, but ringplus didn't go out of business quickly. I used it for 36 months continuously.

If you want to have service on a phone, but won't be using the phone, then CellNuvo looks absolutely wonderful! It's probably fine for my specific example too. But the reason I gave a specific example is to illustrate that FOR THAT EXAMPLE, losing Thank You Message credits is a far greater detriment than the benefit of now "just needing 1 credit a month". That's not an opinion, it's simple math.

This thread has value due to all the reviews, and the great folks sharing their specific usage experiences, thank you. It's not up to you to say it doesn't have value when I point out the detriment I did. Somebody other than you, shopping for service right now, wouldn't know about the detriment from reading cellnuvo.com cuz it still has the apparently incorrect info re Thank You Messages. Just stating facts here.

Does anyone know if you can use not used (unlocked) Verizon Iphones (4) on cellnuvo?

Is there a way to check the Meid number without joining cellnuvo?

iPhones won't work cuz the app isn't in the Apple Store</thread needs a WIKI>
