No. Unless you're running a custom ROM, it is not possible for the user to enter/change APN settings on the Sprint network-- the network does it for you. (If you're running a custom ROM, you'll probably need to do your own research to see if that ROM supports auto-provisioning for data on the Sprint network.)
As a general rule, that system works well, and is more user-friendly than GSM networks. When it does not work well, it is a pain....... It is rare for it to not work transparently, except with a few specific phone models.
Try a profile update and PRL update in an area with a known strong Sprint signal. If you can't get LTE under those conditions, you may need assistance from Support.
Update to my comment that my phone acquired a new 630- area code number today to replace my 000-000 phone number, despite my having taking no action to encourage same: The number does work. I left it sitting on my desk, turned on, and got a spam call. (Yay, I think? Seems strange to cheer about getting a spam call.)

You heard correctly.
Operators are standing by.
1-900-mmmface
Instead of using the 900 number (which by way the way cost $) I called 1-800-mmfacemm, it was a free call and they were very helpful now and have also helped in the past. sarc-off
I will use this post to personally thank all of the posters here and from the R+ forum that have helped me. I too have been called a homer in the past because I root for the home team and right now CellNuvo is my home team, yes they may be a minor league team and not able to hit the ball out of the park all the time but I say keep swinging for the fences. We sometimes have to have patience while our minor league players are developed before they get called up to the majors.
It may be more productive than sitting around twiddling our thumbs or staring at one of those new-fangled spinner things just, well, spinning around.
It's funny that you say that, because I just ordered the Lg X charge yesterday and it's coming tomorrow I wanted to test the waters first, but if it works, using is as a home phone would be an excellent idea if I only knew how to hard-wire the cell phone to my wife's desktop phone - she wouldn't accept a bluetooth connection. BTW, I have Sprint Phone Connect device on Cellnuvo, and it even works on Red Pocket now, but for some reason (Sprint network?) when she calls in on some meetings, the pin numbers she enters to log in are not being accepted on the other side (?). It works on H2o SIM in an equivalent device I have, ...but Verizon network for home phone would be most economical if Comcast only allowed activation of "home phone" devices - they don't use SIMs.
A while back I had to get onto conference calls while driving into work. My Lexus let me save to memory and send separately the conference call codes so I could get into different calls.
For some reason (either reliability or space), it wasn't possible to set them up as single entries with pauses.
Years earlier, I did save long strings of digits and pauses on landline memory buttons when I used telephone banking. One of the banks gave out tone generators for telephone banking as many people still had pulse lines. I still have that generator somewhere.
Thanks very much, @Michael Corleone! I am a very lucky man -- my wife is undoubtedly one of the most kind, accepting, and supportive spouses on Earth and I am extremely grateful that I found The Right One first time around.
