The difference is that you can see there is always something happening with cellnuvo. This past couple of weeks they have been through about 10 versions of the app to improve it and if you were part of the beta program you probably were emailing them and receiving a reply or two. They are working hard on iphone support right now.
Tom indicated they read these forum posts every day and discuss the comments, suggestions, and feedback in meetings. And from personal experiences I know this is absolutely true.
And the "influx" from R+/Ting has clearly overwhelmed them -- in a good way. As mm said, things are evolvolving at a rapid rate, probably much faster than it would have otherwise. This has no doubt helped open more advertising opportunities for them which is translating to more opportunities to earn credits for us. As they say, it's a "fluid situation".
The one area I do hope they're seriously looking into is a solution to drastically reduce bandwidth so we can more efficiently swipe when on cellular service. As a couple of us have suggested, caching ads to our devices would go a long way in helpng achieve this.
One approach would be to assingn each ad and/or group of ads a unique ID and assign a timestamp to that set of ads. Each time the app is opened the app checks the timestamp against the cellnuvo system to see if any new ads are available to cache. And when swiping, rather than needing to send the entire ad when one is available, the system would only need to send the unique ad ID to trigger the ad to display. I do believe this approach is very doable with some creative brainstorming.
Hi Tom,
I just activated my account. I originally had the TRIAL account, which had the same account number, but my TRIAL Silver points that I had earned previously haven't carried over yet.
How about a Low monthly plan option. Let's say $5 per month for 250 to 500 talk and 250 to 500 text and 250 to 500 data and the ability to add overages talk, text, data using credits.
Are there any plans to add detailed "award tracking" data to the website similar to detailed usage data? It would be really nice to have an audit trail of awards received (and not received).
I assume you mean silver but perhaps you meant you wanted more detail like what offers you have completed from the offer list (ad download or signed up to hulu or whatever) or surveys etc.
While I don't recall this specific email coming across my desk, I wanted to jump in on this
We have seen a very very very small number of out trial users create new accounts rather then convert their accounts to a full account. This convesion occurs through the user dashboard.
We have gathered some great feedback on this - specifically we aren't doing the best job we can to make it clear how to move from trial to full
Everyone that we know of who had a trial account and created an unlinked new account has had credits transferred over to their new account
We are working on changing some things to make our flow more transparent to trial users
We are constantly monitoring issues like this and working to streamline them. If you know of anyone who has experienced the same issue let me know
