Thank you the beautiful lady and all nice guys, it is a residential area and no one is willing to share wifi with a Nigerian blackie. I am going to file a complaint in the county court for discrimination. Lol. Seriously, it is not an option to drive out to hunt for wifi unless cellnuvo has incessant 30 silver ads like in the old days. Once you start your car, the cost would be at least one dollar. I think Chelle's idea is the most practical but I need to buy an eligible phone. Which eligible phone is the cheapest and available in Amazon?
I think the least expensive phone, on Amazon, that's on the BYOD list, is the unlocked Moto E4 for $124.
If you could find a cheaper T-Mobile compatible phone you could go with Mint Mobile instead of Sprint. If my memory is correct it's $15/month and you get unlimited 3g data at 128kbps after you use up your LTE data.
128kbps may or may not be fast enough to earn gold on CellNUVO.
Perhaps someone could provide that bit of information to us.
And I find it hard to believe that anyone would discriminate against a Nigerian Prince.
Why not look for one on swappa? Or ebay. Clearly a cheap sprint phone new or used is available
Can you give HH a list of sprint approved phones?
If he gets a year close to free and then swipes like mad. He can get a second year and a new phone and be on his way to free service for a long time. Of course the caveat is cellnuvo stays around.
Speaking of version 3.15, I'm having issues with the app freezing up on me this evening here in CA, on both of my phones. I'm pretty sure it's happening with 15-point ads that just won't open up like they usually do; the screen "gets rid" of the stuff along the top of the phone display right before the ad plays, just like usual, but then nothing happens.
Just wondering... is anyone else experiencing similar problems?
I am seeing the same freezes on 2 different phones. Usually at the moment you describe, but one of my phones is currently frozen on the Split-The-Pot recap of yesterday's contest. (I can get it to close, just waiting to see if it will without forcing it.)
Multiple force closures, clearing cache, etc., make no difference. Sometimes I get an ad or 2 to play before it crashes again.
Exactly! Must be a systemic problem. Sorry it's inconveniencing so many folks (but on the other hand, have to admit I'm glad it's not just me). Hopefully it will get fixed sooner than later and we can all get back to swiping instead of taking swipes at the CN app.
No change yet as of today... app still freezing when attempting to open 15-point ads. As promised, I e-mailed support (and "cc"d Tom) this morning to request help. Hope it gets fixed soon.
