anyone else get the 5 minute ad?
How many silver?
It has been pretty dry for me today with the new and older apps.
For me it is FIOS ad, nothing else.
since my app is buggy. it was either 80. 90 100
Could someone answer this one question: When you swipe with the new 2.0 app, do you see any kind of screen change or does it just sit there and look exactly the same as if it wasn't swiped?
I'm beginning to think it was "designed" this way! Wow, if I were beta testing and that were the case, I'd have sent Tom an email after 2 swipes! Seriously, this HAS to change.
Whether an ad is going to show or not, the screen needs to give some feedback to show it was swiped. My recommendation would be to simply BOLD the text at the bottom when the applicable directional swipe has occured. So for a LEFT swipe, BOLD "Swipe Left for Super Silver", and for swipe Right BOLD "Swipe Right for Quick Silver".
Just leave the text bolded until the app decides whether to display an ad or not. or something equivalent. Just show some LIFE on the screen when a swipe has occured. I gave up on it very quickly as I couldn't tell if a swipe registered or not.
It is supposed to bring up an ad or a new screen saying "swipe to search again" There is a slight lag between a swipe and the screen (about a second) but it does do something.
Thanks, that does not happen with our LG G3 LS990 v5.0.1 Android. I checked our other phone and the "searching" screen shows up fine. I've uninstalled/reinstalled the app, run cleaners for junk files and cache, etc. The LG G3 worked fine with the other versions of the app, but it is not responding with v2.0.
I will email Tom to see if support has any ideas.
Ok I uninstalled v2.0 and installed an older version. Once they get the issues with the LG G3 figured out I'll try v2.0 again.
I have v2.0 on my LG G3 LS990 (Android 5.0.1 software version LS990ZVG) and it works fine. It rotates screen more than others but still able to get credits just by tapping the "back" soft button.
You can try force stop the app from Settings. Then clear Cache data from Settings -> Storage.

Now our other phone is having problems with v2.0. Credits not applying (5 in a row not applied), and on the settings screen when I refresh Account Info I get the message "Invalid Hash".
Invalid hash is usually when the activation code is no longer valid. Just go to your account online and generate a new activation code and enter it in - that should take care of the invalid hash. Credits will not apply with invalid hash so once you enter in a new code your credits should start applying again.
I've found that each phone has some random peculiarity. When I use my LG G2 it does not load the survey screen ever and it will always vibrate for a new ad no matter what setting I choose in the app and on the device. Ads are usually quite plentiful. When I use a nexus 5X on the same account I get the surveys but the ads rotate to landscape often. I also seem to get less ads coming through on that device. Odd.
Thanks again, I will try that as well a little later when I'm on wifi again. So how/why would an activation code all of a sudden become invalid? I guess there are plenty of issues that need to be ironed out.
-If you uninstalled and reinstalled the app.
-If you activated the app on another device using the same or new code.
I didn't do either of those things, just installed v2.0 as an upgrade.
Then there is no reason for it...
Well I got one phone working fine now, but the LG G3 is still not responding after reinstalling v2.0 app. I did what you said but it made no difference. All info same as yours -- also, 3.4.0 kernel version, security patch 2016-11-01, build LRX21Y, security software MDF v1.1 Release 3
This is a completely stock LG G3, never rooted, etc.
Well wth, I tried swiping back and forth a bunch of times to see if it would do anything and it went to a blank screen. Then I hit the back button and shortly thereafter I heard a cash register sound -- what's that all about?
Ok, if I swipe Right Left Right I get some activity. It mostly takes me to the offers screen, but just now a metro pcs video played for 30 credits. But the RLR is the only way it does anything, strange!
** Ok I figured out what's going on. If I swipe two times very quicky in the same direction it works. It is not recognizing just one swipe. That's just crazy! But at least I can get it to work, but it's obviously not ideal!
No more kiip and pollfish??? I like them a lot.
TIPS and TRICKS:
The new app requires a higher version of Android to run. (I think it's 4.0) than the old one did. The phone I have CellNuvo on (a ZTE Force) is only 3.1 so it no longer works. So I installed the app on my Nexus 5 (on Tello) and earn points on the nexus 5 but it still lets me use the points on the old ZTE Force. Is anyone else doing this? I guess the activated IMEI and the phone the app resides on do not have to be the same phone.
