Black Friday Deals (2017)

"Google Home Mini (customers can get $25 off an order when they link the device to their Walmart account) for $29 (usually $49.00)." Nice price for someone with a Walmart account. This would be $4 as I see it.

Just saw this: $20.18 with Target RedCard.

Same phone at Amazon $180

So same phone at Target. $170 then 15% discount = $145!!!! ($156 with tax)

$145 is a great price for G5+. I'd prefer the 4GB RAM one, but 2GB is plenty sufficient for most needs. Target, Walmart, Staples, and others are doing their best to compete with Amazon to our benefit.

Great thing with the Moto G5 is that it supports all carriers, so you could activate it on FP (Sprint) BYOD for 1000mb free data then swap to FP (AT&T) LTE SIMs for 700mb more, if needed.

I'm not sure why all phones just don't come as carrier agnostic, as well as with dual sims. Seems the majority of phones coming from China are dual sim, but yet only setup for GSM because the US in one of the few countries still using CDMA. Not producing carrier agnostic phones could be a matter of production costs, but probably has something more to do with carriers wanting to restrict phones to their networks.

PLUS

Could be $250 - 20% = $200 plus tax
or could be $210 - 20% = $168 plus tax

Either way, a very good deal for a 55" 4K Smart TV, IMHO.

Moto G4 for around $100

Pretty decent deal for an all carrier phone, IMHO.

Ah, the Moto G4 - I was really enamored by that phone since it is carrier-agnostic. Had seen it on slickdeals for $49 on clearance at Walmart (in November before BF). Was all out to go buy it and then happened to read about problems. Seems it is susceptible to the infamous "ghost touch" problem. And worse, there's the "sim card not found" problem where the phone suddenly loses service because it can't recognize the sim card. No easy fix for that problem apparently. (English Community-Lenovo Community)

And yet, why do I still get tempted when I see this phone? I must be a huge sucker.

I've had the phone for about 17 mos. & so far (cross my toes) I haven't experienced that problem. Granted I have the Moto G4 (not G4+) w/ 32 GB & Amzn ads, so maybe my G4 is more immune from those issues.

This is a very good deal.
