Someone who favors substance over style.

Wasn't meant to be a comment about his skill level as I appreciate all types of music. Just not familiar with him.

The best and most inspired version of this Vivaldi piece I've ever heard.....and it's by students.

Ah, "The Harmonic Inspiration". I recall first hearing that piece as well as the rest of the set of concertos when I was in college (Cal Poly Pomona) back in 1968. Didn't play violin but was in the orchestra and had the opportunity to listen to recitals by the other students.
