A couple of thoughts: unless specifically stated differently, I think US Mobile still charges fees and taxes, with the 'fees' part loosely defined, but largely resembling a several dollar add on charge. Might be worth inquiring.
I think hotspot isn't included on their defined plans, but is included on their 'custom' build-a-plans. (The trade-off: on the plans I looked at, 'custom' plans gains hotspot, but includes less data than the nearest standard plan.)
The discount is good for a single line only. It isn't clear so far how it would apply to a multi-line family plan.
