It would probably not be far fetched to say that many of us have done, no matter how trivial, something foolish in our youth that we wish we hadn't done, and now feel that we are lucky that it did not have serious negative effects on the rest of our lives, or others. But, obviously, none of us have done anything comparable to an armed robbery of a bank as the fellow in the linked article has done, and it will be interesting to see what fate a judge will soon decide he deserves.
