One would think this abode would afford privacy, but evidently looky-loos have taken a bite out of that idea. I wonder how the cell phone reception is there.

Not far. From the pics it looks like one could easily swim to town. The invasion of privacy is due to the number of boats that come by to garner a look, I believe.
