Still talking about chicken prices having gone up. We already know that was a collusion.
Same with fossil fuel. Big oil took the initiative to reduce supply to drive the price up.

Well, I guess I should look into lower gains on my stocks. Boo, consumers, for not being able to 'tolerate' more manufactured inflation. LOL
Will this have an impact?
Marketing misdirection, McD had small meals for $4, so it's $5 now and we should be celebrating?
All this inflation stuff is starting to get really scarry now!
Consumers aren't the only ones getting fed up with inflation these days. Restaurant owners and employees across the U.S. have also had their fill of the drag higher prices put on their businesses, as more companies shutter locations. Atlanta-headquartered Hooters is the latest name on a list of chain and franchised restaurants closing multiple stores. It joins Applebees, Cracker Barrel, TGI Fridays, and several others in its retrenchment.

Corporate franchises closing down because CEO and investors have unrealistic expectations is a good thing. Maybe we will see more mom and pop restaurants.
Maybe if we allow in more immigrants to work for less.
Re: Mr I made the pandemic worse and thus an excuse to bribe voters for re-election. LOL
Burger King's Whopper Wednesday has gone up from $3 to $4.

Agree on Panda Express $5 plate when Dodgers win at home. DODGERSWIN
And the $5 McDonald's meal:
Mark Kalinowski, a veteran fast-food-industry analyst, estimated there's a 1% to 5% profit margin on the combo, which translates into anywhere from $.05 to $.25 per meal.
