The Audio/Video Monolith

It seems to me that our almost limitless craving for all things audio and video is somehow wired into our DNA. And, naturally, because we are willing to pay to satisfy this craving, the telecom companies are constantly striving to find the best and most lucrative ways to transmit this valued information to us.Obviously, Google, Amazon, Apple, AT&T, Verizon, are just a few of the companies that are vying for our audio/visual dollars. TV, music, and all information has become monolithic. Maybe Marshall McLuhan was right when he said: " the medium is the message". In any event, here comes T-Mobile to the TV industry.
