LOL
So Netflix will have ads and some contents not viewable.
Here it is, again.
From the article:
” Reports suggest the hike applies to older plans, including One, Magenta, Magenta 55 Plus / Military, and Simple Choice, as well as its collection of Go5G 55 plans for seniors, but the full extent isn’t known.
...
The company added that the increases, which are either $2 or $5 depending on which plan customers are on, will show up on their next bill “as early as June 5th.”
Ah... the real reason for the price hikes. Just like it was 3 years ago when the CEOs all raised prices to pay for their pay raise.
Preparing to port my numbers out once my phone financing commitment is complete.
"If you haven't gotten a text, you're (probably) safe"
So probably another TARGETED increase for those who use a lot of data.
Waiting on my next bill and ready to file a BBB complaint. I can see that new signups be warned of this (and T-Mo better record/document that they've told the customer and the customer agrees).
No way they can change the terms mid way and think that is ok. Remember, this would actually be a case of theft by T-Mobile. So Tort Law would require they pay back triple the damages. Gonna be interesting...
"T-Mobile might provide the service for free initially, at least to those on pricey plans. At first, customers will only be able to send text messages using the service, but unlike the iPhone's satellite connectivity feature, it won't be restricted to contacting emergency services only. Voice and data services will likely be rolled out in 2025."
Hm... looks like price hikes is a given, if you want full global coverage.
Use it or lose it. LOL
