Good information about how critical cats are to human existence. Maybe cats are really man's best friend, rather than dogs. Some have talked about a better mousetrap---I don't think so. Barring the emergence of the mythical Pied Piper of Hamelin, we must give it up for the Cat. Farmer's, business owners, homeowners, and just about anyone who doesn't want rats, mice, rabbits and other vermin around has a cheap way get rid of them. By the way, if I should ever reach the point where I need a robotic cat for company, I've left clear instructions in a living will to be shot before being eaten alive by rats.
