Mint Mobile users have been pretty vocal about Mint's lack of even basic account security protocols for a couple of years. Even on the Reddit forum where Mint regularly interacts with users, they haven't explained either why the don't think it's necessary, or whether they had concrete plans to update security. This was a problem that a lot of Mint users expected to happen, sooner rather than later.
