Been around two months since I've used my FP Supernova hotspot. I powered it on today as I kept getting account dormant messages every few days. I went to download some app updates which took forever. Did a speedtest and I was getting a little over 1Mbps up/down.
Interesting, I did notice pretty slow data speed when I last used my Chromebook on the LTE Gateway.
Hotspots got throttled to 1 Mbps at the same time the Sprint phones did.
Well at least for me it wasn't throttled till now.
You were lucky! I mine had been throttled since the Sprint phones as well.
