It's only Paper Money

The road to shredded money is paved with good intentions. It's admirable this toddler was trying to be helpful as the parents in this story explained, and it's humorous that their $1,000+ was inadvertently shredded, especially since the US Treasury Dept. will reassemble the shreds for the parents and give them a redemption at full value in one or two years ( wow ). That said, I wonder if they had a child proof shredder where, if left powered on, a two year old child can safely use it without shredding fingers, etc? BTW--what in the world is Utah football, and do people really pay $1,000+ for it?
