I was in need of some 9v batteries and found a very good price on a pack of 8 from Home Depot in their HDX brand.
They are supposed to last as long as the leading brands and have a 5 year shelf life which is the same as the much more expensive brands.
Mine arrived today with an expiry date of Dec 2025 written on them.
They were also the same price as an 8 pack of the Amazon basics brand. Other battery sizes have a 10 year shelf life.
So if you don't have Prime, Home Depot may have what you need with free shipping at the same price.
