The man called his daughter and said, "Your mother and I have decided to get a divorce. After 35 years we're calling it quits. Please call your brother and let him know, as well."
His daughter was shocked. "I had no idea! Oh my God! DON'T DO ANYTHING UNTIL WE GET THERE AND TALK TO YOU BOTH!"
As he hung up the phone his wife looked up from her book and asked, "What on earth was that all about?"
He replied, "Good news, honey. Both kids will be home for Thanksgiving and they're buying their own plane tickets."
