FCC Unveils Plans to Phase Out Affordable Connectivity Program

The "Affordable Connectivity" program has become a major source of volume for cell phone /internet providers ($14.2 billion currently).

So, if the resultant profits now cease, how might these provider companies react? One probable way comes quickly to mind.......

Spectrum announced that their internet assist level service (qualified via participation in certain low income programs) is going up $5 from $20 to $25/mo. after January.

Coincidence?
