Doctors in Need of Listening Aids

Time is money interruptus syndrome: it makes sense that doctors interrupt patients after 11 seconds if they are required to see X number of patients a day in order to keep medical company shareholders happy, for X x Y(profit per patient) = needed profit. But, then again, maybe patient "A" talks about their sacroiliac problem for 45 minutes and the doctors spend the rest of the day making up for lost time.
Times are tough for both doctors and patients.
