For those who prefer dark mode while using the Chrome browser on Chromebooks and PCs, I would suggest trying "Dark Reader", a Chrome extension. I have been underwhelmed by the dark mode apps and extensions I have tried and discarded in the past, but I have been pleasantly surprised with how well this one works. It can be easily toggled off and on if need be.
