I don't know They were paying late for me when diedrich duo got his in 1 day a while back. They do process these in batches which inevitably means some are late and some early. But that isn't a fair system. I suspect they need the cfo to sign off on checks (they have his signature on them) and he may not be around much.
I don't know what is going on, but certainly these cheap excuses just speak volumes of how the company is being managed and provides a grim outlook. I just hope we all get paid for the time we invested, cause the grass looks burnt in this side of the fence (CellNuvo's).
Just like watching fireworks on July 4. If you were going home immediately after the show, expect traffic jams, long lines of cars, road rage, people screaming like madmen. I usually wait 30 minutes for traffic to clear out, then go home stress-free.
Similar to CN. I won't be cashing out in July or earliest. I'll be cashing out sometimes in November & December....by that time, CN should have worked out all the glitches. Stress-free! By November or December, the phone I want should be even lower prices than in July. Phones only depreciate so i buy when most of them on sale versus paying full retail price or be tie to a 2 years contract.
People not getting paid according to CN’s self-established schedule isnt a “glitch.” The explanation given above made no mention of glitch. Their lame excuse was that delays were because of the holidays.
What makes you think pay outs will be made according to schedule by Dec. or Nov.? It’s good that your intended use of the CN earnings allows you to wait to be paid. But don’t act like those who opted for earlier payment should have expected what’s happening now. Not a glitch. Same couldhappen in Nov. & Dec. (Thanksgiving & X-Mas).
I sincerely wish you the best and also admire your optimism considering CellNuvo's actions up to this point. I do give credit where warranted (e.g. Bonus points provided).
Another reason Tom or rep needs to talk to is as a community or make a statement on their website. That they here us. They value us. Want to work with us and will make some changes back.
Make payments as promised to their own schedule.
Then they need to keep their word.
Anything less I feel most of us will just give up and go to free up or something new.
A good word would alleviate anxiety.
Most of us would stay if we felt cellnuvo had user benefit in mind.
Well, now I guess I'm an example of reversion to the mean. My latest E-Check request is now 3 weeks old and counting; sure hope it will land in my inbox soon. Also hoping that my two eligible redemptions next month will come through, since they represent the bulk of my accrued CN wealth.
Watching this with great interest since it’s now about 30 days ( give or take) until the Tidal Wave of 4 month redemptions hits CN. Would appreciate updates as often as possible from those awaiting redemptions as I’m sure this is going to be a very hot topic as we move into July. We have about $475 in swaps due in July ( I know a few veterans have much more), and we’re still hopeful that Tom and CN can make an epic comeback. But if that’s not in the cards, here’s hoping they can still exit this gracefully by fulfilling their obligations in the timeframe that they established!
CN rate of 50 cent immediate vs 100 cents in 4 mo is an annualized rate of 227.05%. They should pay the check with 227.05% annualized interest for the delay.
My support response basically calling out the BS and giving feedback has not been responded to (probably stuck at what do we respond) . No check still either. Time will tell.
Thankfully, I have gotten rid of most of my cellphone bill responsibilities (just have one line left that pays with Metro and that soon will change as well to something that pays 20 - 40 unlimited). Everyone else has been moved to free or pay-go options (e.g. TracFone year plans, Tello, etc).
2 electronic checks for less than $200 requested one week ago....no response. I guess from Diedrich_Duo's experience I have at least 4 more weeks of waiting. Have bigger ones to cash out in July but looks like them will be very iffy.
Thank you for your eloquent analysis of the current situation (much more so than mine :)). I have been extremely grateful for the more than $300 I have received in the past year or so towards my cell phone bills, and I really hope that this isn't the beginning of the end for CellNUVO. It is frustrating, though, for them to state that payments will be made within a certain time frame, only to experience delivery delays. As always, time will tell. In the meantime, the adventure continues...

Yes, FreeUp and FreedomPop which is a backup as of this time only for data. All others went to Tello PayGo and the TracFone eBay deal which is quite cheap.
Oh, and one went to a government plan (free). Don't know the details since that's something handled on an individual basis. I do believe the company name is assurance wireless.
We sent an inquiry email to both support and Stephanie on Friday 6/7. Received an auto-reply from support, nothing from Stephanie yet. Will update when we get a response, Stephanie is pretty reliable. Hoping the whole CN gang wasn't part of an Alien Abduction!
This silence and waiting is total BS and pointless. We all know something is wrong so they might as well come clean and let us know where we all stand. It certainly isn't a delay due to the holiday! Are they waiting on cash inflows so they can pay again, are they winding up and if so will we get paid anything at all (eg x cents on the dollar)?
It can't be any worse than what we are already thinking! Unless they really have been abducted by aliens...
