Just picked up the $88.00 ebay deal, not sure what I'm going to do with it yet, but it's barely more than the taxes I pay on my Ting plan. My wifes phone lost CN service about a week ago, so I tried a 5 gold topup through the app store, checked a few days later and still no service. Two days ago the phone got service again but nothing was deducted from her gold.

Do you have to get a sim card from them? Cost?
Will they assign you a new phone number?

I believe catch1147 is referring to the ebay Red Pocket offer: 500/500/500, prepaid for a year. The plan comes with a pre-loaded SIM card. No problem with a new phone number you want.

No cost for sim, they send a sim for every carrier. They email the activation code which is good for a year. If you are going with sprint you can use your existing sim card. Just google ebay redpocket $52.00 plan and scroll down until you find the $88.00 plan. I'm using the $52.00 plan on ATT and it has been working well. Best thing is there are no additional taxes. It was also on slickdeals a few days ago if you want to search for it there.

If you want tmobile speedtalk have matched the $88 price on their 500min/unlimited text/500mb plan. So gives you more texts.
I have the redpocket plan on a phone that has nothing to do with CN. I don't think you could mix the two together. The link that mmfacemm posted also shows the the other redpocket plans.
My minutes text and data still show about 250 as if I haven't used any. Not taking anything off with use and didn't take 5 off my gold . Expiration date overdue. But everything works but who knows how long. Probably run out at bad time. Not dependable . Have to Use as emergency phone. now Up to 275 gold. Wonder if they see a serial swiper if they set u up with service. Money maker for them. I'm still swiping 1 gold a day
