I just got an UNLOCKED Pixel 7 for almost free by trading in an iPhone at Best Buy.

The other deal which I haven't ordered but which is fantastic is at Motorola where they are essentially giving away a 2 or 3 pack tri band AC / wifi 5 class mesh system with the purchase of a modem.

Tri band is very important when you don't have a wired backhaul.

Update: I discovered that I was eligible for a free Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G with no trade in. Interestingly, it is virtually identical to the Pixel 7.

But it looks like it still makes sense to get the Pixel 7 since it can be sold for over $400 which is $200 more than the trade in value of the iPhone being traded in.
