Wow, so much for the Tesla's Hawaii deal at 11 cents a KWh.
At 4.5 cents a KWh for utility scale projects, it probably doesn't make sense to set up your own system - would probably be about 20 cents a KWh.

Thanks--this is a rather striking number. If in fact there are no major subsidies in the mix it would be even more impressive.

I saw an article the other day saying that prices for renewable fuel supplies were becoming very competitive but had no idea it was that close.
Of course it is very location specific still but it is pretty dramatic in terms of where things are headed.
