Didn't disabling auto-top-up on GSM SIMs only limit the last 20mb, rather than the 100mb on the Sprint devices?
I wonder if this means Sprint has changed it's data reporting, since the possibility of unintended overages has been 'a thing' on Sprint MVNOs-- or whether FreedomPop has just decided to absorb that risk.
Sounds like a policy change to just absorb the risk due to customer complaints.
