I guess this judge did not think frontier justice was a thing of the past. I suppose this could also be called cruel and unusual punishment while innocent, before being proven guilty and convicted. I've heard of hanging judges but not shocking judges, though this one is shocking. Good thing this judge was stopped in his tracks, for he may have ordered a lobotomy be performed on a future defendant.
