Perk Up and Live Longer

Flip flop goes the coffee pot. 25 or so years ago coffee consumption, even one cup per day, was considered to be one of the worst things one could do to the human body. But today it is considered a health food which has many proven benefits such as reducing the risk of contracting several types of cancer, reducing heart disease, and, now, it helps one to live longer than, other things being equal, people who don't consume coffee. The reason for this longevity is not yet clear, but one person has speculated that the joy that coffee engenders may be the reason. Maybe that's why I'm still alive.
