Yeah, whatever the going minimal rate for downgrading applies to the Sprint BYOD plan as well.
If it's $16 total to accomplish, one could look at it averaged over a year-- $1.33/month for 1GB of data, throttled to 1mbps. (applicable for free Sprint lines.) After amortizing for a year, the line would be free moving forward.
The CellNuvo app for my main line had been on a FP-Sprint phone since I joined CellNuvo, which gave me a way to swipe when not around WiFi. Unfortunately, that was an Android 4.x device, so I can't use it for that anymore.
