Helium Mobile (MVNO)

The picture ID is via a 3rd party verification service. I uploaded ID through that service for one or two gift card site.

I have no interest whatsoever in cloud points or redeeming them for free stuff., so I've never had to submit picture ID.

Simply creating new free accounts at Helium no longer requires picture ID , unless they suspect something incongruous.

Would be even nicer if that meant free seamless roaming in Mexico!

Good news!
BTW, my family and I have been on the Helium Zero plan for 4 months now and all has gone flawlessly.
Really like this Company!

I recently got this because I was able to fix my old phone which has the app installed. The new phone has a physical sim for the free 3GB. Hopefully things go well

If you’ve got our Zero Plan, you can now add unlimited talk & text for just $5/mo.

*+ Taxes/fees I believe.

Not clear to me if this will act as a true add on, buy and it is for one mo. only and won't renew until you manually pay again or if it is a recurring 'subsciption' to the add-on unless you cancel it. Would be nice to have a choice of either setup.

In any case, a nice option making the plan more practical and usable for some I'm sure without having to go through 'kids' account to get the $5 price point.

I have been using Helium on my second phone for many moons now on the free plan. Been very happy with it. So far so good!

Alot of people aren't happy with having to pay the taxes/fees on the free plan.

I don't mind the taxes and fees, but I'm not thrilled with the ID thing, but I guess that's becoming the standard any more.

Free plan ending…

To join R+, FP and quite a few others I can't recall ATM (please, feel free to add to the list of the departed so that they can be remembered)

TextNow soldiers on.

Are there others ($0 or just "taxes/fees" or even "lifetime" service for a single buy-in) currently available to new customers?

Wonder who from & what the next free service offer will be.

I just ordered S26+ for $100 after the $900 discount since it is almost time to get another subsidized phone on T-Mobile. I will have 2 TMO lines for a few months. Worth it for the phone.

TextNow might be the last of the free lines left. $3.99 for the SIM is a big plus. And free e-SIM is even better. I still have my F-Up line but never use it.

GPT is stating that only Obama phone plans are $0/mo.

Process to initiate port is to Cancel the Plan, select a reason, then you get 3 items to ack and then press Cancel Plan. You will then be given your port out PIN and account number. Port out must be completed before Jun 11.

BTW, just picked up my new TMO phone. The porting was quick, after getting back home and setting up the phone, it activated with my port-in number. Good on Helium Mobile!

Curious about the deal (quick glance on SD didn't see it). Monthly bill credits or some other catch like trading in a recent flagship?

New line offer that works with my legacy plan, no trade-in required.

Well, apparently Helium Zero plan users were held in high regard by the CEO!

Is it being parasite, really? I thought the whole idea is the 'crypto currency' part pays the bill. He's probably the wrong person for CEO as he could not execute the 'crypto currency' part of the business to pay the bill. The Board needs to fire him and get someone who can execute.

The (ignoble?) end.
