Edible car

True story, I had no problem with my last car... parked under a tree in the summer and on the next tune up found the spark plug wires had been chewed on...

Another true story--- I once had a rat living in the engine compartment of my car, which I discovered when the rat scurried around in the engine compartment while I was under the car changing the oil. It had been chewing on cables and actually had eaten part of the battery casing. A little research indicated that rats can get nutrients and live off certain ingredients contained in plastic. I assumed if I drove the car until nice and hot and parked for a while, the rat would jump ship, so to speak, which was not the case. But I learned that rats cannot resist peanut butter even though they know its against their best interests. So after a few days of warfare, I finally succeeded in eraticating the hungry, probably 2 lb. beast. This darn tasty and nutritious plastic is causing all sorts of problems.
