A Grating, Gratifying and Great experience

And now the man is wanted by the NYC police. They'll find this couple soon. Some people will do anything to get a little, or lot, of attention. A little Google search informed me that this ceremonial dropping of proposal rings by men is not that uncommon, and rings are dropped into ponds, lakes, oceans, off bridges, and wherever one can imagine. To be fair, I suspect that the recipients of these rings sometimes fumble the pass off and send them flying to who knows where. Dunno, but the guy staring into the grate looks a bit shady, which may explain why he left no contact info with the police.

UPDATE: Case Closed----

They look real shady to me also

Did they get a free gunk clean?

Yes. ****Update Two: "The bride-to-be, Daniella, tweeted Sunday that her fiancé John proposed in Central Park, but the ring was too big and fell off while they were walking in Times Square on Friday."

"Here’s a photo of the ring our officers recovered (and cleaned!) Call 1-800-577-TIPS or DM @NYPDTips if you know the happy couple so we can return it to them! https://twitter.com/NYPDnews/status/1068994841869201411/photo/1"
