I’m contemplating on trying this beast sim on hotspot or iPad to see if the data works
let you know the outcome
Update: The sim does work in both my hotspots the net gear 9c48 and MR1100 nighthawk. The sim also tethers on my iPhone as well. Haven’t got it to work on my iPad mini 3
I did. Just don’t port from att or att mvno there is a extra step beast put you through to get the number released. I ordered sim it take as long as 5 days to come in mail. Don’t call the beast phone number no one answers. You need to email salesATbeastmobile.com (AT =@) send in SIM card number and phone imei number name and address they will ask for
I think that should be beastmobile.NET not ".COM".
This really seems too good to be true for sustainability especially with no Ad revenue APP but you never know....
.... actually.... I'm pretty sure we do know.....
Without a functioning (and required) app, the more relevant question is probably how long the free ride will last.
Well, I have learned to not be too arrogant in my assumptions as FreeUP (with zero profit/income and only goodwill as a motivation for grandfathered 100% free plans ongoing) and FreeMii (with zero profit/income and only goodwill as a motivation for grandfathered 100% free plans ongoing) have proven me wrong (as with everything in life: for now, YMMV etc.). I think BeastMobile might have the best motivation for keeping a positive image so far as it is a celebrity's vanity project with his "name/persona" embedded within the company name.
Do these SIMs need to be set up for a specific APN? I called and got it activated today, but I checked later and the SIM doesn't seem to work (reports that it's an ATT SIM, but no phone number gets sent to the phone and data doesn't work). Only see the standard ATT APN, not an MVNO APN like I would expect and I received just the SIM card with no paperwork.
