I had stayed at this hotel one weekend. easyupload.io/c2890m
Each cabin had two queen beds, a full-sized bathroom and a kitchenette. The owner told me each cabin had cost him only $10,000. This was about 5 years ago.

Where can I find cabins like that for 10k?

Your easyload site says "corrupted pdf file" when I try to download from it, which may just be my Chrome browser rejecting it.

Anyway, if you do find a way to procure an inexpensive house, the cost of land to build it on might be the real dealbreaker, not to mention the cost of utilities such as power, septic tank, and water.
That said, seems that 3D printed homes might be a cost saving way to get homes built in the near future.
