The fruits of war? This fellow saved this unique penny for 72 years until his dying days, and left the proceeds from its sale to a public library. I don't know if any taxes would be levied on the sale of this coin, but since the government has denied the existence of this coin, then it would be nonsense to tax a non existent entity.

He's rare but hopefully not as rare as the penny.
