Sensible move really. It is still a good deal especially using a referral code. 3 months of unlimited for $5 net. And if new to them one of the many cashback sites give $15-$20. Yes it was better before but easily abused.
The mastercards were not handled very well by blackhawk. So the new gift cards are better in my opinion. More reliable and at least for me as good as cash.
Lukewarm... ultra mobile Buy 3mo get 3 free. 3gb plan usually $22 a month
Comes to $66 plus about $8 in fees. Do the spin wheel thing and you may get a further coupon which seems to stack. www.ultramobile.com/product/3gb-prepaid-plan/
I haven't found enough on Paramount to make me want to pay for it all the time: but like a lot of streaming services, it's really nice to get a month for free now & then. For most of the newer streaming channels, this works for me.
This Cricket deal is not that bad if you don't use a lot of data. You can downgrade immediately from the $60 plan to the $30 plan, which means you basically pay for 6 months of service up front. At the end of 6 months, you can ask Cricket to unlock the phone so that you can take it somewhere else.
The bottom line is that you get an unlocked iPhone SE 64gb and 6 months of service for $180. You normally have to pay for some service anyway, so this is sort of equivalent to paying $100 for just the iPhone SE. Maybe less if you can get a $25 credit from a referral and stack some cashback from Rakuten or TopCashBack.
The only issue is that you basically commit yourself to 6 months, and you have to avoid the temptation of going in on any deal that comes up during the holidays.
