Based on early info, I can't say I disagree. Of course, it took us a while to get comfortable with the last big change.....and we don't have that much info on how the new system will really work.

I understand if there's a desire by CN to get out of the direct cell plan payments-- this has to take a lot of time/effort. But, it provides both an immediate way to use your Gold (points), and a reason for newer users to get involved, set earnings targets, etc (And it's not clear from those who have looked at the app that this won't be available-- it sounds like it appears in the app, but not in the FAQ.)

The timeframe may not be that big of a shift for those making larger purchases-- previously, it took 4 months to transfer 400 Gold. It does appear to be a bigger shift for those aiming towards a less expensive phone.

Please note, unlike the ads in Split-The-Pot game you will not receive points for watching ads and there are no surveys, these are all new ads (the traditional kind of ads) and even though they do not reward you for watching them, you will earn points by playing the game. "

I'm having trouble reconciling these 2 statements. You get to keep all your Number Match Points: but you will not receive points for watching ads? What points to you get to keep that you will not receive?

Thanks for posting the rewards-conversion screenshot and the "Dear CellNUVO customer" info, mmfacemm. And the no-points-for-match-pot rule makes this a casino where the House, ie CellNuvo wins at the expense of all of us. Not to mention their "abuse" excuse to justify these changes!

Based on all this, my decision is simple - Bye bye, CellNuvo! You're not getting any more swipes from me!

As for the Gold that I have so diligently collected over the months - there's no way I'm going to wait another 4 months to get the 1:1 conversion rate since CN will likely be gone by then. So I'm just going to cash out at that awful 2000:1 rate and bid my final goodbye to CellNuvo. Very p**!ed with CellNuvo.

In the process of updating the app now. I made sure to screenshot my balance, not intending to cash out immediately but guess it depends on how much new info trickles out.

EDIT

Balance transferred successfully but getting zero ads.

EDIT 2

Changed my Google ID and getting ads now.Not sure how the crediting is going to work now though.

From the limited experience, you get a bonus for each number you hit. No points are issued for actual ads. If you hit all numbers, you get the full put which has sucked since this rolled out. You do not lose the "winnings" for the bonus numbers match even if you don't hit the pot. In fact, it appears that you may get a little extra after each game closes if you did hit a number or more. Personally, I don't buy their so called research on more points on this method based on earnings from one account upgraded vs the old account running on the old version. This also based on my prior earnings history.

I've been a pretty solid CellNUVO supporter but I've got some serious concerns.

I'll let things sort themselves out before forming my opinions, though.

This is what happens when you don't talk to your customers to find out what the reaction is going to be when you make drastic changes. And then don't explain cryptic sayings about abuse.

in any case by explaining what was going to come they could have done a soft landing and alleviate any concerns. But now people are shocked and annoyed and pissed. I think there's going to be another drastic Exodus
